Harbor Plaza

This project was completed for the ARCH400 studio class at the University of Maryland. The objective was to design a harbor space that disconnects people from the outside world, creating an oasis where visitors can experience peace away from the noise of city life. The design begins with an arcade that serves as a transition into the space. A sunken central area features water flowing through the site and out into the ocean, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, a pier extends over the water, allowing for a more intimate connection with the surrounding environment.
