THE LOOKOUT

This project was completed for the ARCH400 studio course at the University of Maryland. Inspired by the iconic red stairs in Times Square, Manhattan, it was designed as both a lookout point and a communal gathering space. The broad steps invite people to linger and engage with the environment, while the upper level provides an elevated vantage point offering scenic views of the water and the city skyline.
